1. Do you have any payment plans?
To make paternity testing accessible and affordable to all, we run a legal DNA paternity test with only a $100 partial payment. There is a grace period of 90 days to pay your balance, but results will not be released until the balance is paid in full.
For in-home paternity tests, if you are unable to send full payment with your samples, we will keep the samples in a secure, climate-controlled environment for up to 90 days. Testing begins once your balance is paid in full.

2. How soon are the results available?
Results are available 3 working days after we receive all samples in the laboratory. If you need your results sooner, you may request our expedited testing service by calling one of our paternity specialists.

3. How accurate are the results?
DNA testing is the most accurate method available to determine paternity and other family relationships. With DNA testing, we can say with 100% certainty that an alleged father is not the father, and >99.99% that he is the biological fathera higher degree of certainty than any other methods previously used to determine paternity.
Please visit the History of Paternity Testing page to learn more about these different methods, and our Accuracy page for a full explanation of how our DNA tests achieve the highest accuracy.

4. Are results affected by eating, drinking, smoking, or drugs?
The DNA test results will not be affected by eating, drinking, smoking, or drugs. During sample collection, however, the technician may ask you to rinse your mouth if it is not clean enough. Residue from food and drink might encourage the growth of molds, thus contaminating or partially spoiling the sample. Even then, the DNA test we perform is so specific to human DNA that results are not affected.
